What is a Connect Group?

Connect Groups are small groups that meet three times a month in host homes for the purpose of building relationships, biblical discussion, and prayer.  Groups are available for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity, and they are generally organized by age and geographical location.

How are groups structured?

Connect Groups are comprised of the same 5-7 couples or 8-12 individuals who meet consistently over an 12-month period of time. Since people are encouraged not to group-hop, this allows the group to go beyond surface relationships to develop intimate relationships with other believers.

Why should someone be a part of a Connect Group?

Connect Groups allow believers to grow closer to one another. By developing friendships with others at Lawton First, group members will begin to strengthen one another in their relationship with God. Hence, participating in Connect Groups not only unites people together but also fosters spiritual growth.

Join a Connect Group

1. Start a new group by becoming a Connect Group leader. Click "Lead a Connect Group" and a member of our team will contact you with more information.

2. Through a personal invitation from a Connect Group leader who is starting a new group and/or is seeking to add to an existing group.
